Navigating from links to links I found a great revolution for your Firefox web browser: Personas. But what is Personas? This is a new way (by Mozilla Lab) to customize the look of your browser.

This is not like standard themes that will change the whole appearance but actually static (background color, buttons, etc..), Personas will just change the “background” of your browser with an image. You can try using the gallery available on the site or create your own!

Note that the site is very well done. After installing Personas (this is a simple add-on), you can see what your browser can look with a theme of the gallery: As long as the mouse is on the preview image of a Personas theme, your browser instantly takes the colors of this theme!

In fact, it is to protest against the Blackout, which would take place on the net in France if the law “Creation & Internet” or law Hadopi (initiated by the Culture Ministry) had to pass.

The illegal downloading is a bad thing. Spy every surfer but assuming in advance that is suspect is something so dramatic and not less bad.

This kind of behavior from the government is totally dangerous for individual freedoms. It is unacceptable that our fundamental freedoms (the presumption of innocence and respect for private life) are put in peril for money matters!
