Some sites allow us to communicate via limited characters statutes, like Twitter or Facebook. To publish URLs in a status, there are services that offer to reduce the URLs to share as well. Among these services, here’s mine: http://bim.im. It is simple but has an API, via some functions, for use in external applications.

Google Chrome OS is the future operating system from Google. This system will be, according to its creators, as light as possible and its use closely related to Internet browsing through Google Chrome browser and Google online services (Gmail, Gtalk, Google docs, etc.).. It is therefore intended to netbooks and should be released in the second half of 2010.

As I wrote in one of my previous articles, I have a netbook on which I installed Kubuntu. Everything works fine but Firefox seems a little too heavy for this kind of machines That’s why I decided to try another web browser lighter. So I tried Chromium, cross-platform browser developed by Google. Not to be confused with Chrome, another browser from Google. Chrome is from Chromium but it is a proprietary software, while Chromium is free. That’s why, this article is about Chromium, not Chrome.

In recent days, some changes have appeared on the blog. These changes relate to the appearance but also new features.
Among these changes are:

• Modification of the provision of information on the sidebar, making the content richer.
• Appearance of information for me on various social networks
• Possibility to vote for an article
• All responses to an article on Twitter, are automatically transformed into a new comment for the article
• Possibility, when writing a commentary, it is also posted on your Twitter profile.

In addition, new articles should appear about my projects. I think especially of my CMS TavuxSiteBuilder which should be released for the first stable version in the end of August.
